The historic centre - also called Casco Antiguo - is characterized by narrow streets with white houses, old churches, cozy squares and dozens of shops, restaurants and terraces. Be sure to visit the Plaza de Los Naranjas, or Orange Tree Square. These trees provide a cooling shade so you can enjoy real Spanish tapas and sangria. Other attractions are the Arabic city wall, the 17th century Casa de Corregidor, the 16th century town hall and the 17th century Iglesia de la Encarnacion.

Bronze statues of Salvador Dalí and the Alameda Park
Take a look at the bronze statues of Salvador Dalí on Avenida Del Mar. This promenade is definitely worth a visit and connects the promenade of Marbella with the adjoining beautiful Alameda Park. Alameda is the perfect place to take a break while strolling through the city. In the park you will walk in the shade of tropical plants and trees along nicely decorated benches. Don't forget to take a picture at the beautiful central fountain with typical Andalusian tiles. From the Alameda Park you cross the Avenida Ricardo Soriano and enter the above mentioned Casco Antiguo. Also visit the museums of Marbella.

Puerto Banús - Marbella
The marina of Puerto Banús, just west of Marbella is the famous setting for people who can afford a luxurious lifestyle, exclusive shopping and luxurious relaxation on the Costa del Sol. This is why you will find the most luxurious designer boutiques and luxury restaurants in the marina and the surrounding area. Lush, extravagant and precious are some of the synonyms that apply here.

Shopping in Puerto Banús
The most popular pastime in Puerto Banús is probably shopping in selected and trendy shops. You will find famous designer brands such as Christian Dior, Gucci, Gianni Versace, Hermes, Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Armani, Cerruti, Kenzo, Pierre Cardin and Dolce & Gabbana.
